Jill Peacock is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist. She is currently releasing songs from her upcoming fourth independent album. This marks a new psychedelic soul sound for Jill with more a playful, experimental, light hearted approach to her soulful sound. This is a contrast to her previous album ‘Inner Wilderness,’ a stripped back solo work, recorded in only one session and was featured on NPR Music's New Music Friday. Previously, Jills self titled debut album was released on the Toronto label DoRight and was featured on Here and Now (CBC) and Gilles Peterson ‘s show (BBC). Jill's writing has influences of UK Soul and Trip Hop, taking cues from artists like Esthero and Portishead .
