Biography
The YAYennings Quartet was born upon his move from NYC to LA in 2017. Jay and fellow Snarky Puppy bandmate, Bob Reynolds (John Mayer) were recording the album Culcha Vulcha near El Paso, TX in 2016 when they realized they had very similar interests in early west coast bebop during a late night jam session.
