In 2019, four hard rock luminaries - Auley Schenker Group singer Robin McAuley, Winger and Whitesnake guitarist Reb Beach, Foreigner and Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson and Matt Starr, drummer with Mr. Big and Ace Frehley's band, join forces to found the supergroup Black Swan. Signed to the Frontiers label, the group foments a debut album, Shake the World, recorded in Los Angeles and released in February 2020. It's launched by the title track, which unites the members' different influences under the banner of muscular hard rock with federating, devastating choruses. Far from being a reunion of veterans, the supergroup made its mark with its second album, Generation Mind, released in April 2022. Three years later, different schedules allowed the members to reunite for the recording of a third studio album, Paralyzed, released in February 2026.
