Real name Mikaela Duplay, pop singer Miki was born in Nice on November 11, 1998, to a French father, an aerospace engineer, and a Korean mother working in public relations. She grew up in Luxembourg, where she studied classical piano for ten years, before turning her attention to jazz. Inspired by alternative pop singers, her first compositions were posted on her social networks and quickly caught the public's attention. After the single "Contact High" in 2024, "Échec et mat", "Cartoon Sex" and "Scorpion ascendant scorpion" followed, with their contemporary lyrics and creative music. In 2025, the seven-track mini-album Graou unveiled four new tracks and went straight to number 7 in the French charts.
